Dr. Weldon Mark Cousins, DVM

In 1987, my dream was to build both a facility and a practice that celebrates the special bond between a cat and its owner. The motivation to achieve this ideal is the unique love, companionship, and commitment that people feel for their feline family members and vice versa. Communication, education, affection, top-quality, cutting-edge veterinary care, service, and aesthetics were all considered as core values critical to the ethos of the feline veterinary hospital experience I was trying to create. Hopefully, if it succeeded, the end result would be a veterinary experience where not only cats would be comfortable, but their owners would be as well. Hence, The Cat Practice was born. Our commitment through the years has been to evolve to meet a changing and improving medical landscape and continually strive to exceed the expectations of our clients with our brand of service. My sincere hope is that all of our clients and patients feel the peace, healing, education, and relationships that are the building blocks of The Cat Practice.
