Fueled by a love of animals (passion) and a desire to be in control of his work-life (profession), Brian Koester started a dog walking and pet sitting company in 2003. By 2009, the business had grown to include a daycare and boarding facility, and 75 walks a day. The opportunity for growth was evident, but the daily management of the dog walking tasks was all-consuming. This led him to design Better Walker.
