She announces lots of exciting opportunities for you to join in on the celebration of this year’s National Therapy Animal Day Ashley dishes on the types of animal species that can participate in Pet Partners’ training and creative ways you and your pet can volunteer in your community!

Ashley Drew is the National Director, Special Events for Pet Partners where she has the opportunity to share her love for fundraising with our constituents. Pet Partners is the nation’s leading organization in registering therapy animals for animal-assisted interventions.  Ashley has extensive knowledge in donor stewardship, event management, sponsorship solicitation, and volunteer relations, having worked in the non-profit sector for nearly 16 years. She is coming up on her two-year anniversary on April 8 with Pet Partners, where she began her career as one of their first Chapter Executive Directors and is now part of the national team. She received her bachelor’s degree in mass communications and sociology with a minor in Spanish at Arizona State University, and continued her education at Western International University, earning her master’s degree in marketing. In her spare time, she loves to travel, go fishing, spend time with her family, and enjoy the beautiful outdoors in Arizona. Ashley can be reached at ashleyd@petpartners.org.
