Since 1995, Assistance Dog of the West’s assistance dogs have helped clients to overcome physical mobility challenges caused by disease, stroke or traumatic accident. Assistance Dogs of the West’s Executive Director, Carolyn Clark Beedle, stops in to talk with Marcie and Whistle about Assistance Dogs of the West’s award winning educational and vocational programs that enable them to provide highly trained assistance dogs to people with disabilities. You’ll be amazed at the innovative ways they are engaging youth as young as eight years old to train these assistance dogs!
