Does your service dog qualify for a complimentary screening eye exam? Dr. William Miller and Stacee Daniel from the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmology (ACVO) join us to talk about National Service Dog Eye Exam Week. The week of May 3, 2009 over 140 ACVO board certified veterinary ophthalmologists will donate their services to provide FREE eye examinations to Service Dogs across America and Canada. Join us as we talk about this exciting event and about the importance of eye care for working dog teams!

How to Register
Dogs must be active “working dogs” that were certified by a formal training program or organization or currently enrolled in a formal training program to qualify. The certifying organization could be national, regional or local in nature. Specific service groups are listed on the website. Owners/agents for the dog(s) will register the animal via an online registration form beginning April 1. Once registered, the owner/agent can locate a participating ophthalmologist in their area to schedule an appointment.
