Ellen M. Laura is a seasoned author, mystic, and spiritual guide. Her decades of “soft”
paranormal encounters—animal premonitions, protective presences, objects that seem to wake—
inform both her fiction and her teaching. These experiences began in the 1970s, when such
stories were mostly shared in whispers. Based in Las Vegas, she blends meditation and
archetypal work with a lifelong love of cats and the mysterious bonds they forge with humans. A
member of the Cat Writers’ Association, Ellen also speaks about the continuity of animal
consciousness: several of her felines have returned to her across the years—yes, reincarnated cats
have graced her life
