Cathy Bissell is part of the Bissell Homecare family founded in 1876 with a strong emphasis on the amazing vacuums we all love. Cathy’s mission and true heart love, however, is for helping shelter animals. She is the founder of the Bissell Pet Foundation with the mission to help reduce the number of animals in shelters through adoption, spay/neuter programs, microchipping and emergency support. Founded in 2011 by Cathy, BPF is an extension of her long-standing love for animals and commitment to their welfare. BPF has since partnered with 5,000 shelters and rescues across the U.S. and Canada to help pets find loving homes.
