BIO:

My name is Vanessa Benitez and I am a local children's book author from Queens. I am reaching out as I wrote a book about a stray cat from New York City that is raising both money and awareness for the stray car community that I would love to share with your listeners. The book is called The Adventures of Puffy Cat and the Lost Name. It is inspired by my real life rescue cat Snarf who I found in the garbage. The book follows Puffy Cat, who was dumped from a garbage truck. She is faced with having to find food, safety and her name that she lost along the way. I have partnered with For Animals Inc. and I will donate a portion of the proceeds to this organization to help the stray cat community through TNR (trap-neuter-return) and cat and kitten fostering and adoption.  I would love the opportunity to discuss the book further.
