A super important chat about Pet First Aid & CPR with Pet Tech Master Instructor and Texas' top Pet First Aid Instructor, Beth Bowers. In episode 30, Isabel wraps up season 1 with an episode that's bound to set pet parents and their pets up for a summer of fun in the sun! As a former Pet First Aid Instructor, Isabel believes that all pet parents should learn Pet First Aid - especially those that travel with their pets and/or include their pets in their adventures.
Isabel invites Beth to play "PET SOS" a pet first aid trivia game where they go into detail about pet poisoning, choking, and even using tourniquets to save a pet's life. Beth shares her dos, don'ts, and her concerns about many of the misconceptions out there regarding pet first aid and CPR.
Now that Covid-19 restrictions are being lifted and classes are starting to resume, Isabel encourages her audience to consider taking a course. Beth was a Veterinary Technician for over 10 years and loved educating her clients, so she fell naturally into teaching pet owners and pet professionals Pet CPR & First Aid. She became a Master Instructor in 2015 and now Certify new Pet Tech™ Instructors all over the country. Beth has a large pet care business in Dallas, TX, and is the Owner and Lead Trainer. Power to the Pawz offers Positive Reinforcement Dog Training, Behavior Consultations, Pet Sitting, Dog Walking, In-Home Bathing & Grooming, and many educational classes. Beth has a young daughter and 4 dogs who keep her busy when not running her business or teaching classes. However, nothing inspires her more than her clients, their pets, and her amazing students!
