Litters of Service Dogs
Abigail Witthauer founded The Roverchase Foundation in 2015. The Roverchase Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit dedicated to providing professionally trained service animals to individuals with disabilities. They are hopefully expecting their "G" litter this spring if Mother Nature cooperates. Abigail's latest mama is not yet ready to be bred. Abigail explains the gestation period of dogs and why her smart mama might be holding out. In this episode, Isabel and Abigail play Service Dog Fact or Fiction, discuss the very interesting history of service dogs in a game called The History of Service Dogs, and talk about how regulation is needed to ensure that the dogs and their partners in the disability community get the respect and support they deserve.
