Inspired by a little Fox Terrier named Mutt from France, The Palm Dog Awards, presented with the Cannes Film Festival and the Palm D’Or Awards, is the longest running ceremony honoring Dogs in Film. Mutt’s person, Toby Rose, also created the FIDOS, For Incredible Dogs On Screen! Meet THE Toby Rose and hear all about the moving, courageous dog actors who have etched permanent places in our psyches and hearts. Now This is A Super Smiley Adventure!

Toby Rose is the person belonging to the sweet Fox Terrier named Mutt, who was born in Champagne, France and inspired the Palm Dog Awards presented in conjunction with the Cannes Film Festival. The Cannes coveted Palm D’Or Award is rivaled only by the Palm Dog Award! Toby Rose, alongside a jury of leading international film critics, award the Palm Dog Collar for the best performance by a canine who acts in a film screened at the Cannes Film Festival.
Toby has also created the FIDO Awards, For Incredible Dogs On Screen! These are held in London where all dogs are invited for a “Celebrity” Photo Op. And, Toby is also unleashing his new lavishly illustrated book on the history of the Palm Dog Awards, aptly named, “Unleashed."
