Doug Thron is the star of the new series “ Doug to the Rescue.” He’s a 27 year veteran of aerial cinematography and is one of the most widely published aerial photographers in the country. Driven by his love of the environment, he used his drones to film the devastation left by the California Paradise fires. With this work, he found there was another mission to his skill set, finding and reuniting lost pets with their people. He’s found and helped rescue pets and wild animals around the world left in the wake of hurricanes, tornadoes and firestorms including helping rescue groups save burned koalas in the Australian wild fires. Doug’s series, “Doug to the Rescue,” is broadcast in partnership with Warner Media, Amazon, outlets in Russia, India, Sweden and many more through Curiosity stream.
