Pet Loss Guilt and Mourning

Brent Atwater on Pet Life Radio

How do we let go of the guilt we feel when we have to put our fur babies to sleep?  Grief can be overwhelming, and everyone has to deal with it in their own way. What are some of the things we can do to help us get through our deep loss?  When we lose our fur babies it is so final and so hard to comprehend that no one really dies! We want to believe it's true but how can you help me to understand what happens after they leave this earth?

If the furry siblings of the pet that transitioned can sense, see, feel the transitioned pet, are they also mourning the loss of the fur body even though they know the transitioned pet is still here? Do they know if they do not get to say goodbye or see the fur body after the pet has transitioned? Would their knowing be why they heal and move forward in less time than the human does?  Answers to these questions and more on this week's episode of Alive Again.
