Dr. Roy Yanong on Pet Life Radio

BIO:

Miles Fetherston-Resch is eight years old and the Founder of Kids Saving Oceans, a conservation lifestyle brand designed for kids, by kids. His goal is to donate $1,000,000 to marine conservation groups by the time he is 18. Miles believes it doesn’t matter how young you are – every person and their choices, can, and will, make a difference in our world. Miles is going into 3rd grade at Country Day School where his favorite subjects are math and science. In his free time, Miles likes spending time with family and friends (including his two rescue dogs, Oliver and Otis), playing basketball, reading, and watching Expedition Unknown.

Libby Fetherston-Resch currently works for NOAA in the Marine Mammal Branch. Previously, she was the Program Director for a marine research grants program housed at the Florida Institute of Oceanography. Libby spent eleven years working on the conservation of marine fish, wildlife, and habitats in the Southeast US. Directing Ocean Conservancy's regional fish conservation program work and, after the 2010 BP Deepwater Horizon oil disaster, on their Gulf Restoration Program team as the marine restoration strategist, Libby turned a passion for ocean policy and marine resource management into actionable plans for population recovery.
