Jessie Sanders, DVM, CertAqV is the owner and chief veterinarian of Aquatic Veterinary Services, a mobile private veterinary practice serving fish clients in California and Nevada. Dr. Sanders is a Certified Aquatic Veterinarian by the World Aquatic Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Sanders received her B.S. in Marine Biology from the University of Rhode Island and DVM from the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University. Dr. Sanders is one of the first Certified Aquatic Veterinarians through the World Aquatic Veterinary Medical Association, and a board member of the American Association of Fish Veterinarians, a member of the International Association for Aquatic Animal Medicine and the American Veterinary Medical Association. With a dedication to fish owner education, Sanders has developed a fast-growing aquatic veterinary practice aimed to empower all fish enthusiasts.
