Combining their talents in the fields of veterinary medicine and onstage humor, Dr. Lisa Lippman and Richie Redding happily co-host Pets N Punch line, a new weekly podcast. BIO:
Dr. Lisa Lippman is living her dream as she has always wanted to be a veterinarian. Growing up in New Jersey, she decided to pursue her passions in biology and public relations at Syracuse University. She completed a pre- medical program at the University of Pennsylvania allowing her to complete her veterinary degree at Western University of Health Sciences College of Veterinary Medicine in southern California. While in vet school, Dr Lippman was President of the holistic club, Vice President of the internal medicine club and events coordinator of the surgery club. However, one of her proudest accomplishments to date was having an integral role in changing a California state law called “Molly’s Bill.”
Dr. Lippman knew she wanted to come back home to NYC and joined BluePearl Veterinary Partners NYC to extend her formal training as a veterinarian through a one-year internship. While she loves all areas of veterinary medicine from surgery to politics, her special interests are in dermatology, internal medicine and emergency and critical care.
Comedian Richie Redding is the creative force behind House Call Vet NYC with Dr. Lisa. As a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and huge dog lover, he brings ideas to the show that are both silly and smart. He is a veteran stand up comic that tours nationally with Katt Williams and also internationally as a headliner in his own right. In three tours with Katt he's performed in front of almost a million people in theaters and arenas, racking up a massive and diverse following. He can be heard weekly on both podcasts Pets And Punchlines as well as War Stories With Richie Redding.
Richie's stated goal for this project is to make it not only the most interesting veterinarian based show but also THE FUNNIEST!!!
