John Paul DeJoria

John Paul is also an avid supporter of Last Chance for Animals in addition to the World Wildlife Federation and the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society. John Paul Pet is also involved in local programs and events, including the Humane Society of America shelters, The Bark and Whine Ball, PAWs and various ASPCA events and activities. Additionally, DeJoria provides financial support to the California Wildlife Association, which provides refuge for injured wildlife and to various local animal shelters.

Patricia N. Olson, DVM, PhD

Patricia N. Olson, DVM, PhD, is the president/CEO of Morris Animal Foundation, the largest non-governmental granting agency for companion animal and wildlife health studies. A former practicing veterinarian and scientist who studied reproduction and endocrinology, Dr. Olson has an extensive history in nonprofit work, including positions at Guide Dogs for the Blind and the American Humane Association. She also served as an AVMA Congressional Science Fellow and has taught at three veterinary colleges.  Dr. Olson helped to found many programs that foster the human-animal bond – from preventing animal and child abuse to promoting humane dog training methods to consulting for governments and industries on humane and healthful transportation of animals worldwide. She has won numerous awards for her work.
