Be A Pawster Foster!

Michelle Fern on Pet Life Radio

What would happen to your pet if you went to the hospital unexpectedly? If you lost your housing? If you left a domestic violence situation? Pet owners in at-risk situations often find they have no choice but to surrender their beloved pet to a local shelter.. But Pawster Nashville, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2020, is working to reduce that number.

Pawster Nashville provides a service called Crisis Foster Care: When a pet owner is in crisis, Pawster Nashville places their cat or dog in a foster home, until the owner is back on their feet and ready to be reunited. Crisis Foster Care keeps pets out of shelters, and it keeps families together.  This week Michelle Fern talks to Gabe Horton,  President of Pawster Nashville.
