In this episode we welcome the owner of The Paw Pad, Amy Elliot Smith all the way from the United Kingdom. Once again talking all things grooming, Amy gives us all a look into her own grooming experiences. We cover how grooming in the UK compares, and sometimes differs from grooming in the US. Comparing notes, and of course funny stories, look for some big laughs, because Amy was a BLAST.
BIO:
Amy Elliott-Smith has been a dog groomer for 17 years and started The Paw Pad in Northwich, Cheshire in 2007. Since then, The Paw Pad has moved from small premises in Amy's garage to a 2,500 sq ft unit comprising of dog daycare, grooming and groomer training.
In 2013 she won The People's Book Prize for her comedy novel, A Guide to Becoming Distinctly Average, which chronicled her career working with dogs.
