Brayden Mathews

New Yorker Brayden Mathews, 39, works in the financial industry.   A graduate of Cornell University, Mr. Mathews has lived in the city for years and can frequently be found bounding up the infamous training hills of Central Park. A lifelong animal lover, with a particular soft spot for Rotties like his late ‘Gunther’, Mr. Mathews has dedicated the last seven years of his running efforts to a variety of animal charities.  A strong believer in "think globally, act locally”, Mr. Mathews hopes to raise $10,000 as a result of this year’s marathon effort.
