Robert B. Haas is Chairman of the Board of Haas Wheat & Partners, the Dallas-based private investment firm whose heritage includes the acquisition of Dr Pepper and Seven-Up back in the mid-eighties. This businessman-turned-artist has nine stunning photographic books to his credit, including the recently released Through the Eyes of the Vikings and I Dreamed of Flying Like a Bird, both published by National Geographic. Haas' captivating photographs have appeared in major exhibits throughout the world, and his work has been featured on CBS News Sunday Morning, ABC News Nature’s Edge, and CNN, and in National Geographic, Time, Forbes Life, and numerous other publications. A graduate of Yale University and Harvard Law School, Haas has endowed professorships and been a frequent lecturer at both institutions.
