Lola graduated with highest honors from Drexel University with a BS in Fine Arts & Design. She placed in “Next Greatest American Designers” competition and quickly earned a job on Seventh Avenue designing first for Albert Nipon, then Christian Dior.  Five years into it, with her passion dying, Lola wandered into an acting school, went on an audition and booked a commercial.  designs for dogs

Lola left the design world and became an actor. She found the best teachers and mastered her craft.  She supported herself with commercials, bit parts and a recurring role on “All My Children”.  Lola joined The National Improv Theatre, where she performed weekly with “Split-Second Theatre”, a comedy troupe that improvised one-act plays. Her love affair with the written word began.  Lola became a playwright, having many of her one-acts, comedy skits and cabaret shows produced off-off Broadway.  After an inspired summer with David Mamet and The Atlantic Theatre Company, Lola moved to Los Angeles, started writing screenplays and never looked back.  designs for dogs

She dove into an intense learning cycle through the UCLA writer’s program.  Optioned several scripts. Placed in a number of contests including the Nicholl Fellowship, Project Greenlight, Sundance Writer’s Lab and the Austin Film Festival. In addition to writing screenplays, Lola is a published novelist and philanthropist.
