I am a lawyer in New Westminster who is a huge animal lover. My husband and I have several cats, dogs and birds, all of which are rescues. I have been involved with various animal rescue organizations over the years and was one of the founding members of the Royal City Humane Society in New Westminster. 3 years ago, I travelled to Guatemala to volunteer at the Animal Aware Dog and Cat Shelter and ever since, have returned twice yearly to volunteer.
