Heather Tobin, host of Paw Prints On Our Hearts

Born in the seaside town of Marblehead, Massachusetts, Heather Tobin has always been drawn to nature and animals, from watching seagulls at sunset, to making toad houses in her family yard to encourage their nightly visits. Growing up in a house with dogs, cats, iguanas, guinea pigs, bunnies and ferrets, Heather formed a deep bond with all of her animal companions great and small. Her gifts as an animal intuitive grew from her great love of each and every pet that came into her life. At the tender age of ten, Heather became a volunteer and advocate for animal welfare rights, enlisting friends to sign petitions. Heather has worked at various animal shelters her whole life, from cleaning enclosures to organizing successful fundraising campaigns. she now serves on the Board of Directors for the Friends of Manchester Animal Shelter in New Hampshire. She received her Bachelor of Anthropology from the University of Massachusetts and her Master of Communication from Emerson College.

Heather is also a singer songwriter, having recorded in New York and Los Angeles, collaborating with Grammy nominated producers John Rollo and Bruce Witkin. She has used music to create fundraising events for animals, combining her two great passions. In addition, Heather has studied and practiced spiritual healing, shamanism and mediumship for over fifteen years, She has studied with Psychic luminaries including John Holland, Carole Lynne, and Robert Brown, former psychic medium to Princess Diana. Heather studied extensively at the prestigious Arthur Findlay College in Stansted England in advanced mediumship.

As a producer and host of television and radio programs featuring both animal and spiritual stories, she has entertained and educated audiences for over 15 years,  She often connects with pets in spirit, which has been incredibly rewarding and confirming. It is through these profound experiences that she has wanted to help others understand and heal through the transitions of their pet's lives. With an ever positive and sprite like energy, Heather's mission is to infuse hope, light and love into those who are coping with elder and ill beloved animal companions. Her recent loss of her precious soul cat, Fletcher, 17, has been an incredible, spiritual journey. With the help of a phenomenal pet hospice team who assisted Fletcher in palliative care in his last 6 weeks, Heather and Fletcher were given the gift of precious time to say farewell, but never goodbye. As host of " Paws on Our Hearts," Heather Tobin hopes to inspire , comfort and help listeners and their pets.
